What is Open Plan learning?
Open Plan is all about delivering independent learning, personalised learning and flexible learning; enabling pupils to study at their own pace, to achieve their own goals in their own time. Why Open Plan?
Traditional classroom layouts don’t lend themselves to independent, personalised and self-directed teaching and learning. Open Plan Learning spaces do because they provide choice over how and where you want to work.
Creating the space
If you are not lucky enough to have a new-build school with a large open plan space within it, you can still create one. An old sports or assembly hall can be transformed in a very short time. Alternatively, what many of our customers are doing is knocking two classrooms together to create a larger space.
