Dalry Primary School in North Ayrshire has a new school thanks to the Scottish Arts Council National Lottery Fund. It is part of the 'Primary Space' project, a unique project involving the close
collaboration of artists, architects and North Ayrshire Council in the design and realisation of a new concept in primary school building.
The new concepts are exciting and inviting, the new ICT suite is actually an inflatable Pod (renamed "The Brain" by the students).
But where do you source furniture for such spaces? Working with the architect & Remploy Isis designed and manufactured custom workstations for this state-of-the-art zone. To match the imacs to be used by the school, the desktops are white perspex, and the frame silver with integrated cable management.
